Players (2022)

The Paramount+ Original Series Players debuted on the streaming service in June, 2022, and comes to us from the creators of the hit Netflix series American Vandal. Much like that series, this is done in the style of a mockumentary covering the lives of people who do competitive gaming for a living, playing for a professional team in a League of Legends style MMORPG dubbed Fugitive. The characters then endear themselves to you with their deadpan style of delivery like team leader Cream Cheese (Misha Brooks) and teenage wunderkind Organizm (Da’Jour Jones), as well as their rivalry with former teammates Guru (Moses Storm) and Forsite (Peter Thurnwald). Moses Storm provides the show with its sexiest content when he both bulges out a tight pair of briefs and also poses nude but strategically covered for a magazine cover clearly aping the ESPN Body Issue.
