Biography

The rugged Ralf Möller is a German-American actor who got his start as a six foot six inch bodybuilding champion, that weighed in at 288 pounds of lean muscle in his prime. Who knew deadlifts and protein shakes could produce so much man meat? Born in Recklinghausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Ralf started working on his fine physique at the young age of 17 when he began bodybuilding, and went on to win the German Bodybuilding Championship in 1984. Ralf retired from bodybuilding in 1991 to focus on acting, and we couldn’t be happier that he got those perfect pecs into the movies! While his first screen appearances were as himself in bodybuilding stuff like the documentary about the 1988 Mr. Olympia Contest The Battle for Gold (1988), in his first traditional movie appearance, Ralf joined Jean Claude Van Damme as Brick Bardo in Cyborg (1989). That's when he gave us our first hardo. He reteamed with JCVD in Universal Soldier (1992), but our little soldier was really standing at full attention when Ralf stripped down for his role as the evil martial arts master Brakus in Best of the Best II (1993). Ralf shows off his manly, muscular chest and amazing abs in the film while none other than Wayne Newton introduced him to the arena full of fight fans. So much muscle! Since he was a bodybuilder turning to acting just like Arnie, it only made sense that Ralf played Conan the Barbarian in the TV adaptation, Conan the Adventurer. But Ralf is probably best known for playing the Germanian fighter Hagen in the massive, Oscar winning swords and sandals hit film Gladiator (2000). He went man to man with Dwayne Johnson in The Scorpion King (2002), went drink for drink as the member of the German squad, Hammacher in Beerfest (2006), and had us horny as his helmet when he played the giant Viking Ulfar in Pathfinder (2007). In the late 2000's, Ralf headed back home to do some German movies and TV shows, while occasionally popping up in a few American B movies. Most recently, he was Poseidon to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Zeus in a 2022 short film for BMW, part of which aired as a Super Bowl ad. Makes sense. Ralf Möller is built like a Greek God!
