Ron Lester burst onto the scene in the hit comedy Good Burger (1997) then saw his star grow even brighter with his role as Billy Bob in Varsity Blues (1999). After solidifying a long running role in the TV series Popular, it was clear that Ron was Hollywood’s go to guy when they needed a serious beefcake with some extra pounds on his frame who could also be funny and loveable. In Varsity Blues Ron gets very lovable with some strippers when the football team goes to a local strip club and he jumps on stage and takes it off. It is a feast for your eyes as he gets into some serious bump and grind while working it on stage and showing off some serious moves. If you are into guys with some meat on their bones, Ron delivers a show that will have you ready to get in the game. After 2000 Ron took a long break from Hollywood and lost around 350 pounds. While he feels, and looks, like a new man, he has also found himself having to start his career over from scratch. Sadly Ron left us in 2016, but we'll always hold a place in our heart for this teddy bear with a heart of gold!
