If you crave satisfaction, Rudy Ray Moore is the one to give you that action! One of the superstars of the underground comedy scene in the late 1960s and early ’70s, Rudy recorded a whopping 32 albums including “This Pussy Belongs to Me” and “I Can't Believe I Ate the Whole Thing,” before making the transition to film with the crime comedy Dolemite (1975). The R-rated flick features D’Urville Martin, Lady Reed, and Rudy’s nude movie debut! While playing the titular pimp, Moore displays his chest and drawers. If that’s not erotic enough, the skintastic actor also reveals his rump during a hump with an ebony diva. Needless to say, the Blaxploitation pic was a hit! As such, it spawned the sequels Petey Wheatstraw: The Devil’s Son-in-Law (1977), The Avenging Disco Godfather (1979), and The Human Tornado (1976). The latter features a hilariously sexy sequence wherein Rudy Ray tumbles down a hill in the buff. He even replays it to prove he did the stunt! Frequently shirtless, Mr. Moore knew how to give his fans what they wanted. His influence can be felt in pop culture since Chris Rock has referenced him in his stand-up acts, as has Snoop Dogg per the lyrics to “Nuthin’ But a G Thang.” Best of all, Eddie Murphy portrayed him in the film Dolemite Is My Name (2019). Unfortunately, Rudy Ray didn’t witness his legacy since he passed away in 2008. Yet during his life, he enjoyed being a comedian, singer, actor, film producer, and bisexual!
