Seventeen Times Cecile Cassard (2002)

The French drama Seventeen Times Cecile Cassard (2002) follows Cecile (Beatrice Dalle), a chick having a difficult time getting over the accidental death of her husband, Thierry (Jérôme Kircher). In an attempt to find peace, Cecile ditches her young son on one of her female friends, goes on vacay, and rents a room in a sketchy hotel. Within moments in her new digs, Cecile begins to attract the attention of a bunch of gay guys and some sexually amped young dudes. While her new friends bring her some much needed relief, it’s Matthieu (Romain Duris) that really catches her heart, especially when he offers to father her child.
