The Crowded Room (2023)

Wig. Tom Holland continues to explore his dramatic side in the 2023 AppleTV+ limited series The Crowded Room. He takes on the role of all roles for an aspiring dramatic actor: That of a person struggling with mental illness. Holland's character Danny Sullivan is a high school teenager who escapes his dire home life and school bullying by moving in with a man in his neighborhood named Yitzak Safdie, portrayed by Lior Raz. Safdie has also taken in a young woman named Ariana (Sasha Lane) and after she divulges to Danny that she is on the run from her abuser, he gets the idea to procure a gun and chase her abuser down. This wild journey ends with Danny firing off the gun in Rockefeller Center. When he returns home both Arian and Safdie are gone, and Danny has some explaining do to his lawyer Rya (Amanda Seyfried), because sadly his actions land Danny in court. The Crowded Room is based on a real story and ends up being about being about a legal battle groundbreaking in its inclusion of mental illness as a defense. Why are we watching The Crowded Room? Because in one scene we can see Tom Holland in his underwear! The only thing crowded is the front of those undies!
