If you were a fan of Saturday Night Live’s Loud family from 1978, you may get a kick out of The Hollars (2016). Thanks to the direction of John Krasinski (who also stars in this flick), we can witness the ways in which the titular family deals with devastating news. In other words, when matriarch Sally Hollar (Margo Martindale) learns that she has a brain tumor, her husband Don (Richard Jenkins) rushes to her side as do her sons Ron (Sharlto Copley) and John (Krasinski) Hollar. The latter already has his plate full with drama since he’s caught in between his ex-fiancée Gwen (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and his current girlfriend Rebecca (Anna Kendrick in a Teen Choice-nominated turn). The movie also includes Josh Groban as Reverend Dan, Mary Kay Place as Pam, Ashley Dyke as Stacey, Randall Park as Dr. Fong, Tonea Stewart as Latisha, and Charlie Day as John’s old high school buddy. Of course, Mr. Man thinks that Mr. Copley should go to the head of the class for flashing his fabulous flesh. Although Sharlto doesn’t expose his junk, the handsome hunk does strut his stuff in boxer shorts. This uninhibited act means we get to glance at the skintastic actor’s hairy chest. Even his mom is treated to a view of his fine fuzz when he walks in on her in the bathroom. Suffice it to say, the sight of the built brunette’s brawny chest is enough to make you holler for more sexy scenes of the The Hollars!
