Were you a fan of the BBC show Sherlock from the 2010s? Of course, you were! It's the show that brought us Benedict Cumberbatch and his adorable relationship with Martin Freeman as well as the sexy antagonist Andrew Scott. Are you ready to start lusting for a super-smart detective again? Good because Amazon Prime has a brand new show called Young Sherlock and the stars promise to be HOT.
Guy Ritchie is directing the episodes of Amazon Prime's upcoming series Young Sherlock which focuses on Sherlock Holmes in his earliest days. Max Irons stars as Mycroft Holmes (Sherlock's brother) which has only been announced recently. The star of the show was already known, but Max's involvement has been speculated for a while now after he was seen in photos taken on set. No one knew who he was playing until now.
Max is joining an impressive roster of men who have played Mycroft Holmes. Hugh Laurie, Christopher Lee, Richard E. Grant, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Fry, Sam Claflin, and Mark Gatiss have all played Sherlock's brother in the past. That is quite a roster of prestigious actors - many of whom have gone deliciously nude - so it's safe to see that Max is in great company.
Much like many of those actors, Max Irons has also gone nude. He has shown us his ass several times including in The White Queen and Condor. I wish we had seen his condor in Condor, but he kept teasing us and made us simply salivate over his seat meat. He's also had some gay makeouts. He is doing everything he can to make us crush on him.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin is set to play Sherlock Holmes. He is a student at Oxford University when he is entangled in a murder mystery. This will be his first case, but Sherlock isn't Sherlock yet so his methods are not refined.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin joins a long lineage of hot and moody actors who have given Sherlock Holmes a spin. Benedict is famous for doing it, but other actors who played Sherlock Holmes include Robert Downey Jr., Ian McKellen, Christopher Plummer, Charlton Heston, and Henry Cavill among many others. Hero is in great company - both when it comes to acting and nude scenes.
He has gone quite nude in a series of films with After in the title. After We Collided, After Everything, and After Ever Happy all show Hero heroically taking off his clothes. Hero's hiney makes all of these films worth watching. They should be renamed to After He Takes Off His Clothes because that's when we start watching with bated breath.
The show will also star Joseph Fiennes as Silas Holmes, Donal Finn as James Moriarty, and Colin Firth as Sir Bucephalus Hodge. How exciting!
Young Sherlock doesn't have premiere date yet, but my guess is sometime in 2025. We have some time to prepare, so go ahead and rewatch Sherlock. Or better yet? Watch Hero's and Max's nude scenes and anticipate what might happen.
