In the mid-2010's, Starz and BBC One both had a serious hard-on for Philippa Gregory’s best-selling historical novels. After turning one of them into the hit show The Spanish Princess, in 2013 it was time for The White Queen. Set during the Wars of the Roses, where the House of Lancaster and House of York fought over who would rule England until intermarrying and creating The Tudor Dynasty, the show followed Elizabeth Woodville (Rebecca Ferguson), a gorgeous widow who finds herself lacking money and privilege, until she seduces the ultra-horny Yorkist King Edward IV (Max Irons). This really pisses off The Duke of Warwick (James Frain), so he decides to lead a rebellion to put his daughter Isabel's (Eleanor Tomlinson) husband George, Duke of Clarence (David Oakes) on the throne. From there, there's all sorts of throne swapping as various groups lay their claim, raise armies, and reach out to some supernatural forces to try and take out their enemies. Since the best way, back in the day, to make sure your man would lead was to get ahold of his seed, there were a decent amount of sex scenes. David Oakes shows just a bit of butt when he runs around Winnie the Pooh-ing it in a dress shirt, while Joey Batey is an absolute babe when he flashes his muscular buns and well-built chest before aggressively sledgehammering a babe. But the best buns belong to King Edward himself, Max Irons. Talk about buns of steel, or iron at least, his ass is wildly firm and he's not afraid to show it off in a bunch of sex scenes. That's a scene that needs to be seen in The White Queen!
