World Without End (2012)

Based on the 2007 Ken Follett novel of the same name, the television miniseries World Without End is a follow up to the 2010 miniseries The Pillars of the Earth. Set in the same town, but one hundred fifty years after Pillars, that one was all about the construction of a giant cathedral in Kingsbridge, England. In this one it's 1327 and the cathedral's a town mainstay, which is good. Unfortunately, times are incredibly tough in Kingsbridge. It's the beginning of The Hundred Years’ War, and the Black Death is just around the corner. So, that's bad. Caris (Charlotte Riley), a compassionate and driven woman, along with her lover Merthin (Tom Weston-Jones) work to inspire the medieval town to confront the Church and the Crown to take back their town and enter a new time of unencumbered freedom and enlightenment! Meanwhile, King Edward II (Ben Chaplin) has been locked up by his wife Isabella (Aure Atika), which leaves his dope of a son (Blake Ritson) to take the throne. In this world wannabe doctor Caris (Charlotte Riley), poor girl Gwenda (Nora von Waldstaetten), and sons of a knight Merthin (Tom Weston-Jones) and Ralph (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) are all trying to find their way, with Caris' nasty aunt Petranilla (Cynthia Nixon) trying to use her niece to gain any ounce of power she can. Does that seem like a lot of characters? Well, the book never ended: it was well over 1,000 pages, so fitting all these plotlines into an eight-episode miniseries was a tall task. Thankfully, Follett's is not a world without rear end, since there's tons of hot man ass in this one! You’ll be enlightened when you get some sweet glimpses of Tom Cullen and Oliver Jackson-Cohen backsides in scenes of sex and peril. The guys of World Without End will lead you to a happy ending…with yourself! Tom's doing the deed with a babe in the hay, while Oliver's jumping out of bed to head for the hills. Tom Weston-Jones even jumps a girl's bones, which gives us a look at his buns doing some thrusting that'll have you lusting. We wish that sex scene would never end!
