The TV show that launched the IT joke around the world "Have you tried turning it off and back on again?" and pretty much became one of the most popular series to come out of the UK for a four year period, The IT Crowd. The series follows a group of IT support workers at a nondescript and giant corporation that basically just spend their days sitting in the basement, keeping the company running with much ease. There is the disgruntled Roy (Chris O'Dowd), the ultra geeky Maurice (Richard Ayoade), and the grifter pretending to know what to do Jen (Katherine Parkinson), all of whom prefer to be left alone. The series acted as a star making turn for every single one of them, pretty much launching their careers in the states because they are all perfectly cast and about as hilarious as you can imagine based on their following works in the US. The series proved to be so popular that is was another BBC show that was brought over and had a spin-off Americanized version that was short lived. As the series progressed, it proved to be a genius interpretation of what working in the IT department at a large company epitomized, having to deal with tech support issues from corporate boobs who are the least tech savvy people at the office. Although the series aired on the BBC's Channel 4, there wasn't much nudity to speak of, so it's just a handful of side butts, shirtless scenes, and a the breakout adorability of Chris O'Dowd and Richard Ayoade.
