Who rules? It's not O'Doyle, but rather a baby doll attached to the arm of a crazy man in The Rule of Jenny Pen (2025)! Geoffrey Rush stars as Stefan, a judge in New Zealand who suffers a stroke and is relegated to the Royal Pine Mews senior care center for rest and rehabilitation. Stefan soon catches the eye of longtime resident Dave Crealy (John Lithgow), the aforementioned man with the baby doll who seems to terrorize the other patients at night in their rooms with his beloved Jenny Pen. However, the audience is soon clued into the fact that Stefan is not in his right mind since his stroke, and they are left to question whether any of what we're seeing is real.
