Heart of the Stag (1984)

Talk about keeping it all in the family! The creepy drama Heart of the Stag (1984) centers on a small sheep farm in New Zealand where a father, Robert Jackson (Terence Cooper), has an inappropriate relationship with his daughter Cathy (Mary Regan). Looking for a job, a man named Peter Daley (Bruno Lawrence) begins working at the farm, where he quickly realizes that things are not up to snuff. After developing feeling for Cathy, the two realize that there’s no time like the present to escape and start life anew. But with an insane father familiar with violence, will everything end okay?
