Unexpectedly directed by Frank Oz, The Score (2001) is a thriller that was marketed on the bringing together of three generations of actors who defined the so-called Method. Robert De Niro stars as Nick, a safe cracker who is getting too old to take scores and is looking to settle down with his woman Diane (Angela Bassett) and open a jazz club. However, when his fence Max (Marlon Brando) introduces Nick to Jack (Edward Norton), a cocksure young con man running a long scam that Nick could potentially get in on, it's up to Nick to keep his head about him and watch out for whatever double cross is coming his way! While the dialogue is crackling, this isn't exactly the sexiest movie ever made, save for one steamy scene where a shirtless Edward Norton deals with an intruder! If you're looking to Score, that scene is your best bet!
