The Temp (1993)

The Temp (1993) is a thriller about an executive named Peter who tries to do things by the book. The unfortunate thing for him is that his colleagues all play dirty. He's an outsider and square to them, but he still can't make himself go against the rules to ruffle feathers. However, he can make someone else do that work for him. That someone ends up being a brand new temp named Kris. Kris is a bright-eyed and ambitious temp who is willing to do a little bit of dirty work to get the job done. She becomes his go-to girl for everything he does not want to do. But will that eventually come back to bite him? After a while, the temp's contract is up, and the admin assistant that she was filling in for returns. She really wants to stay with him and climb the corporate ladder for herself, but the contract is over. Now that she is gone, he realizes just how much his temp did for him in removing obstacles - even, perhaps, in contributing to the deaths of some of his corporate rivals. The question now is: does he care? Tom Holland - no, not that one - directed this film from writers Kevin Falls and Tom Engelman. Timothy Hutton stars and Lara Flynn Boyle plays the young temp. Timothy Hutton does not go nude, but he does go shirtless when he sits in his swim trunks in a floating tube in the water. This will make your tube hard!
