Titus (1999)

Many literature scholars claim that Titus Andronicus is Shakespeare’s worst play, but heck if you have a taste for revenge this might be right up your alley. Anthony Hopkins stars as a favored Roman soldier Titus Andronicus who returns from defeating the Goths only to turn down the emperorship. With a complicated plot involving human sacrifice of the Goth queen’s son, a revenge attack of Titus’ only daughter, and lots of violence and death besides, the real beauty of this Julia Taymor directed piece of skinema is all the hunky man flesh. Yes, this kind of brutality might not be for everyone, but fans of Jonathan Rhys-Meyer’s pleasure pipe, Matthew Rhys’ radiant rump, and Alan Cumming’s cum pipe will want to check it out. Even Hopkins gets on board with a bit of nudity here. Roman’s lends us your rears!
