What could possibly go wrong for a young Manhattan couple moving from the big city to a creepy old dairy farm in the secluded Hudson Valley wilderness?  Well, of course nothing SUPERNATURAL could possibly happen, right?  Buckle up for this psychological thriller from co-directors Shari Springer Bergman and Robert Pulcini, the tandem team that brought us American Splendor (2003) as they change gears for a darker story line this time.  This one follows artist, Catherine (Amanda Seyfried), whose husband George (James Norton) convinces her to leave behind New York City for the small "burg" called Chosen, NY.  You see, George has just gotten a job as a professor of art history at the small local college and he thinks he's found them the perfect farmhouse to make their forever home.  As Catherine and their young daughter get settled into the old house and George labors away at his new teaching job, she begins to sense that something sinister is happening on that farm.  She begins seeing things around the house and property, imagining that her husband is being unfaithful, and that the locals could be harboring dangerous secrets.  As she begins to piece together the history of the house and it's former owners, the growing darkness that is enveloping her and her family begins to come into focus and they are definitely not safe from Things Heard & Seen!  Luckily for the audience though, some of things seen are James Norton's juicy butt and Alex Neustaedter's chiseled torso as the local hunk turning up the heat for Amanda Seyfried!  This thriller is keeping us thrilled in all sorts of different ways.
