War of the Worlds (2019-2022)

This isn't your mom's War of the Worlds! H.G. Wells' famous 1898 sci-fi novel The War of the Worlds is back with this UK series that drops the "The" from the title but keeps the intensity. War of the Worlds is about an alien species that unleashes hell on Earth just days after first initiating contact with us. All hopes that extraterrestrial life would be friendly - ala Close Encounters of the Third Kind and ET - are obliterated as their attack leaves only small groups of humans alive on our planet. War of the Worlds the series offers a timely reminder of just how heartless one group of beings can be to another. However, the aliens aren't without a little redemption arc. At least their cruelty delivers shirtless Ty Tennant. The series was shirtless-less in the first two seasons, but five episodes into season five the House of the Dragons breakout star showed off his sexy, smooth, twink body while chilling in his makeshift bed in an abandoned office. This boy's got the whole world in his gland!
