Wild Card (2015)

You want a remake of the crime thriller Heat (1986)? You got it! The action flick Wild Card (2015) stars Jason Statham as Nick Wild, a Las Vegas-based bodyguard and recovering gambling addict who accepts a job by self-made millionaire Cyrus Kinnick (Michael Angarano) to show him around Sin City and protect him while he presses his luck in the casinos. But things get grim when Nick’s buddy Holly (Dominik García-Alredo) gets the shit beaten out of her, sending him into action to find Danny DeMarco (Milo Ventimiglia), the tough guy that doled out the punishment. To get revenge on Danny boy, Nick will have to get through his band of tough guy mobsters. The ass-kicking, blackjack-playing, revenge-seeking bald dude gets even and now he needs to get out of Vegas before Danny’s fellow mobsters kill him. Along the way, we get to see both Jason Statham and Milo Ventimiglia with their shirts off. Looks like these two dude have been hitting the gym! That’s good news for all involved!
