As the former director of the Free Speech Coalition and co-founder of a charity dedicated to the welfare of porn performers, William Margold is more than just an actor; he is a man concerned about people and their rights. As the son of a judge who campaigned for Native American rights, activism was in William's blood, but growing up in Washington DC cold only have enhanced his desire to get political while also giving you that naughty tickle. Often referred to as the Renaissance man of porn, the AVN Hall of Famer has dominated the world of porn for many decades. The dedicated actor got his big break in the Godfather spoof with a rather disappointing name, The Goddaughter (1972), before moving on to grab roles in various adult oriented flicks like The Playmates in Deep Vision 3-D (1974), Olympic Fever (1979), Erotic Radio WSEX (1983) and The Chocolate Fudge Factory (1987). However, much of William's more mainstream work has been defending his line of work on news shows like Hard Copy, 20/20, and giving his perspective on the biz in the documentary After Porn Ends (2012). With his defined physique and trademark, some would say "70's porn stache" defining lip tickler, William had amazing scenes in all sorts of seventies movies. But if you're looking for the gold standard in seventies sex, it would have to be his work in the sex advice at a newspaper columnist flick Fantasm Comes Again (1977). Newspapers? Yes, this is a nostalgic dick flick where we get to watch William film an enormous orgy, and have some quite intense pool sex. William's willy is on full display as we see him getting all sorts of action. Fans will spasm seeing that seventies sex machine! While he was great in the Sopornos franchise, William mostly turned to writing and directing in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. Since he's still speaking in all sorts of documentaries like Back Issues: The Hustler Magazine Story (2014) and Larry Wessel's Palace of Wonders (2021), you may well catch a glimpse of William on your screen sometime soon. We appreciate anyone who fights for our rights while looking tight, but can't think of any thick dicked dude doing the stuff William was back in his day.
