Awkwafina and Bowen Yang are two of our favorite young comedians working today, so to say that we were excited when they teamed up for the comedy series Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens is an understatement. So what is this one about? Awkwafina plays a version of herself, as the title suggests. Nora is a young woman trying to make a big impact on the world from her home base of Flushing, Queens in New York City. Bowen Yang plays her fabulous cousin, and together they navigate this crazy thing we call life... with a little help from their Chinese grandparents. So why are we telling you all about our favorite comedy series? Not just for the yucks. Former kid star Frankie Muniz makes an unforgettable appearance as a Tiger King-type, and looks so cute in his open button down shirt. If this is Frankie's big comeback, we hope that next time he comes back with less clothes!
