The stylistic Hulu bio-drama Becoming Karl Lagerfeld whisks audiences away to the pressure cooker that was the 70s Parisian fashion scene. Up-and-comer Karl Lagerfeld was not yet known to the general public, but he was making waves in the industry as a ready-to-wear designer. He struck up a steamy romance with Jacques de Bascher while simultaneously duking it out with his arch nemesis Yves Saint Laurent. Laurent happened to be backed by financier Pierre Bergé, making Lagerfeld's uphill battle against the titan all the steeper. If this sounds like the kind of series to have nudity and gay sex, that's because it is! Think Ryan Murphy's Halston. It's very that. Surprisingly Daniel Brühl as the titular Lagerfeld remains clothed, but the men portraying Yves Saint Laurent and Jacques de Bascher (Arnaud Valois and Théodore Pellerin, respectively) dare to bear for some awesome gay scenes. Nudity is always in fashion!
