Biography

William Moseley was born in Stamford, Connecticut and reared near Mr. Man in Barrington Hills, Illinois. After playing college football while attending Yale University, the brainy babe worked as a journalist. But his career took an unpredicted turn when he was cast as a cab driver in the sci-fi flick Endangered Species (1982). Now known as Bill Moseley, the actor played the main marauder in Rob Zombie’s Firefly trilogy: House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devil’s Rejects (2005), and 3 From Hell (2019). In the latter, Bill bares his naked chest, drawers, and nude booty. Nothing scary about that! Through the years, the horror film legend portrayed a murder, a monster, a maniac, and everything in between. Check him out in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) with Dennis Hopper; The Blob (1988); Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival (2015); and Gothic Harvest (2019). Bill took a brief break from chiller dillers with performances in Clint Eastwood’s action comedy Pink Cadillac (1989); the wildlife adventure White Fang (1991) with Ethan Hawke; the family fantasy Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992); and the romantic drama Mr. Jones (1993) with Lena Olin and Richard Gere. But he was back to tickling and tingling our bones in the humorous horror flicks Army of Darkness (1992), Prehysteria 3! (1995), Evil Ed (1995), and Evil Bong (2006). From 1990’s Night of the Living Dead and The First Power to 2007’s Halloween and Grindhouse, Mr. Moseley has become a one-man horror movie institution. No wonder, we’re crazy about him!
