The 2019 gorefest 3 From Hell (2019) is a continuation of director Rob Zombie's equally brutal outing The Devil's Rejects (2005), which itself was a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses (2003). But wait, you're likely thinking, didn't Otis (Bill Moseley), Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) die in a police shootout at the end of The Devil's Rejects? Apparently not, since this one picks up with our trio of troublemakers in jail after getting nabbed by the po-po after somehow surviving all those gunshots. After the trial, Spaulding gets offed via lethal injection, while Otis will end up escaping prison thanks to Otis' brother Foxy Coltrane (Richard Brake) doing him a sibling solid. While on the lam, Foxy and Otis kidnap prison warden Virgil Dallas Harper (Jeff Daniel Phillips) to get him to free Baby. He does, but they kill him anyway and all head for the Mexican border together. The problem is, in prison Otis killed a dude named Rondo (Danny Trejo) whose son Aquarius (Emilio Rivera) is hot on the trio's tail looking for revenge. When he finds them, there's going to be all sorts of South of the Border bloodshed! Sid Haig was super sick throughout filming, which explains why he's basically replaced by Richard Brake. Unfortunately, he'd also end up dying just a bit after the film was released. RIP. Speaking of sweet releases, the violence may be hard to watch, but the men are easy on the eyes! Bill Moseley even lets his butt hang out of his tighty whities while lying in a dingy bed and doing some day drinking. Meanwhile, Richard Brake struts his shirtless stuff in a number of scenes. Mr. Man would like to pump that brake! More like 3 From Helloooo!
