Vampires and jokes don’t seem like a popular pair yet the two are a winning combination on the big and small screens — from the humorous horror flicks Old Dracula (1975) and Love at First Bite (1979) to the succubus sitcom What We Do in the Shadows (2019-2024). In between, we’ve enjoyed Jim Carrey in Once Bitten (1985), Leslie Nielsen in Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995), Eddie Murphy in Vampire in Brooklyn (1995), Nicolas Cage in Vampire’s Kiss (1988), Richard E. Grant in The Little Vampire (2000), and Johnny Depp in Dark Shadows (2012). Of course, we can’t forget Bite Marks (2011). Under the pen and direction of Mark Bessenger, the funny film follows the misadventures of truck driver Brewster (Benjamin Lutz). While delivering coffins to a funeral home, he picks up a hitchhiking gay couple — Cary (Windham Beacham) and Vogel (David Alanson Bradberry) — who are having relationship troubles. If that’s not bad enough, the truck breaks down and leaves them all in a deserted junkyard with coffins housing vampires (Craig Fuchs, Jason James, Joel Erickson, Justin Fill, and Stacey T. Gillespie). Needless to say, the situation literally sucks! This is especially the case when Cary and Vogel have gay sex in a bathroom stall 23 minutes into the pic. Alas, we only see David’s derriere as another man spies on them. Not to be outdone, Mr. Lutz flashes his naked T&A when his character has both gay and straight sex. We want to add to his bite marks!
