Newly Single (2017)

If there’s one single thing Mr. Man enjoys seeing it’s a single-themed film featuring a handsome actor such as Matt Dillon in Singles (1992), Steven Weber in Single White Female (1992), Colin Firth in A Single Man (2009), Damon Wayans Jr. in How to Be Single (2016), and Luke Macfarlane in Single All the Way (2021). A lesser-known film that can be added to this list is the indie flick Newly Single (2017). As you’d expect, the movie’s director and screenwriter Adam Christian Clark cast himself in the leading role of Astor William Stevenson. Hmm, we see a resemblance already. He plays a self-obsessed filmmaker who lives in Mr. Clark’s actual apartment. The action kicks in when Astor’s girlfriend Valerie (Molly C. Quinn) breaks off their relationship. Heartbroken, the newly single stud navigates the Los Angeles dating world. Long story short, sensual shenanigans ensue with Belle (Alexandra Skye), Charlee (Marguerite Moreau), Francine (Rémy Bennett), Izzy (Jennifer Kim), Jackie (Lindsey Kraft), Madeline (Anna Jacoby-Heron), and Maria (Raychel Diane Weiner). Also known as Снова одинок, this pic premiered at Estonia’s Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. No doubt, viewers appreciated the universal appeal of Adam’s skin. For starters, the hottie steams up the screen when he walks into the shower to scrub up his wet pecs and bare bum. If that’s not arousing enough, the naked hunk also shows off his junk! Later, the nude dude reveals his rump while humping Emily (Jennifer Prediger). Needless to say, he puts the motion into this motion picture!
