His mum is British beauty actress Jean Lodge and his dad, Alfred Shaughnessy, wrote for the original Upstairs Downstairs (1971-1975) series in England. Needless to say, they were Charlie’s ticket into the entertainment industry. Of course, the Cambridge cutie discovered the spotlight on his own while in school thanks to a comedy revue. With his defined cheekbones, alluring accent, and stylishly-coifed hair, Charles was a natural fit for both the stage and small screen. Standing at 5’ 11½”, the dashing chap stretched his sexiness from across the pond to American TV with roles on soap operas such as Days of Our Lives (1984-1992, 2002, 2012-2013, 2016-2017) and General Hospital (2021-2022). In between, Charles (and his chiseled chest) could be seen on an episode of the CBS crime show NCIS (2016). In fact, the arresting actor flashes his abs and gams when he’s hiding in an armoire.
