His mum is British beauty actress Jean Lodge and his dad, Alfred Shaughnessy, wrote for the original Upstairs Downstairs (1971-1975) series in England. Needless to say, they were Charlie’s ticket into the entertainment industry. Of course, the Cambridge cutie discovered the spotlight on his own while in school thanks to a comedy revue. With his defined cheekbones, alluring accent, and stylishly-coifed hair, Charles was a natural fit for both the stage and small screen. Standing at 5’ 11½”, the dashing chap stretched his sexiness from across the pond to American TV with roles on soap operas such as Days of Our Lives (1984-1992, 2002, 2012-2013, 2016-2017) and General Hospital (2021-2022).
