Biography

You can almost hear the words coming out of this handsome face before he even speaks "My father's final words were... Love her as I loved her, and there will be joy". That's right, the dashing, debonair, and severely underrated character actor, Chris Sarandon is probably most recognized as Prince Humperdinck in the cult classic, The Princess Bride (1987).  Truth be told, Chris Sarandon had a wildly successful career before playing one of the ultimate jerks ever put to film, in his first feature film role, he played Al Pacino's transgendered lover and the whole reason he's robbing a bank in 1975's Dog Day Afternoon, to which Chris got an Academy Award Nomination for his portrayal of the character for best supporting actor.  After that, he went on to star in some incredible projects, so if you don't recognize him, you've probably been living under a rock.  He was the lead in the horror classic The Sentinel (1977), the charming vampire neighbor in Fright Night (1985), the hero cop is Child's Play (1988), and of course the voice of THE Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).  Not to mention, he is Susan Sarandon's first husband, hence her namesake, as the two were married for 12 years before splitting in 1979.  That is an exceptionally storied career and with his tall, dark, and incredibly handsome good looks, he has been a certified sex symbol since the 1970s, so it's always a treat to see him pop-up in projects to this day.  He gave us a little taste of that body of his at his peak fame in A Murderous Affair: The Carolyn Warmus Story (1992), among plenty other projects throughout the years... But it's that voice of his that will hit you right in the nostalgia and send a horny shiver right down you spine!  PRINCESS BUTTERCUP!!!
