If Chuck Liddell is "The Iceman," why does he get us so hot and bothered? This former UFC champion was born in Santa Barbara, California, where he began studying Koei-Kan karate at the age of 12. Eventually, Chuck also began playing football and studying Brazilian jiu-jitsu, skills he would put to use when he made his UFC debut during UFC 17 in May of 1998. Liddell's fame rose along with the sport's, and after successfully defending his light heavyweight championship four times he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2010. Chuck announced his retirement shortly thereafter, and although he no longer makes his living pummeling men senseless in the ring, you can still see the MMA legend pop up occasionally on shows like Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, and Bones.
