Clerks II (2006)

Kevin Smith’s low-budget smash Clerks (1994) has proven such a perennial favorite that the New Jersey-enamored director decided to launch a sequel more than a decade later. Alternately titled The Passion of the Clerks, Clerks II (2006) picks up with the lives of Dante (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal (Jeff Anderson)––cash register jockeys who have been laid off from their lousy, minimum-wage jobs. Dante has hopes of quitting his new fast-food gig for horizons outside the Garden State, but Randal proves an unlikely adversary. Jason Mewes smashes his buns of meal up against the glass much to the chagrin of the customers, but a delight to us!
