You, Me and Dupree (2006)

Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon are newlyweds Molly and Carl Peterson. Owen Wilson is Randy Dupree, the groom's best friend who moves in with the couple right after their wedding. The three of them comprise the titular triangle of You, Me and Dupree (2006). Before they were doing a ton of MCU flicks, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo directed the tale of poor Rudy Dupree, a loveable loser that can't keep a job. Since he's always been there for Carl, and Carl's father-in-law Bob (Michael Douglas) is such a nightmare, Carl lets Dupree live with him and his wife until he can get back on his feet. This causes all sorts of tension in the marriage as Dupree's tough to deal with, despite his best intentions. From boning a librarian (Amanda Detmer) who works with Molly in their home and nearly burning the place down, to becoming best buddies with Bob to the dismay of Carl, Dupree's a lot to handle. Eventually everything will come to a boil and Carl will blow over. But don't worry, Dupree will find a way to make it up to him, save his marriage, and like a stoner Mary Poppins (1964) leave everyone better off than when he came. Along the way, with the help of a body double Jimmy N. Roberts, Owen Wilson shows some butt in a couple of scenes. Call us Tom Hanks in Castaway (2000), because we'd like to become best buddies with that round mound of Wilson! We'll also see the shaggy haired sex machine running around with a plate blocking his junk. You, Me and Dupree? Sounds like a heck of a threesome, one, two three!
