Disappearing Acts (2000)

Based on the 1989 Terry McMillian novel of the same name, the HBO film Disappearing Acts (2000) is an atypical Hollywood love story. Set in New York City, Zora Banks (Sanaa Lathan) is a brokenhearted schoolteacher and aspiring singer hoping to become a star. Franklin Swift (Wesley Snipes) is a construction worker and father, limping his way through a divorce, hoping to start his own business. When Zora and Frank meet while he's doing the floors at her apartment building, it’s love at first sight! Soon enough, they're playing Scrabble and doing it on the freshly waxed floor! But since Franklin takes his sweet time telling her that he's a married man with children, it's inevitable that things are going to go bad. Once Franklin spills the beans things start to get a bit hairy. Then, when Zora gets knocked up and Franklin turns into a drunk, unemployed, deadbeat dad, Zora kicks him to the curb. As the months go by, things fall apart as each struggle to achieve their personal goals. Will they get back together and live happily ever after or was this relationship doomed to fail from the jump? Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but Wesley’s dark chocolate cheeks will make your penis grow harder! Just two years after Blade (1998) made him a megastar, Wesley's in bed with Sanaa and on top of his ripped body, we get a great look at his black buns while the pair are making love. Who cares if she ever becomes a singing star when she's got Wesley Snipes giving her the pipe?
