Conversations with Friends (2022)

After their rousing success in 2020 with Normal People, Hulu re-teamed with author Sally Rooney two years later for an adaptation of her 2017 novel Conversations with Friends. College students and former lovers Frances (Alison Oliver) and Bobbi (Sasha Lane) like to perform at spoken word open mic nights for fun and one night, they catch the attention of photographer and essayist Melissa (Jemima Kirke). Melissa invites the girls back to her house to spend some time over their college break and before long, Frances begins a not-so-clandestine affair with Melissa's husband Nick (Joe Alwyn). Anyone hoping for Taylor Swift's man Joe Alwyn to pull a Paul Mescal and go full frontal a bunch of times is going to be sorely disappointed in this series, but we do get two different scenes where he flashes his ass for the camera! Talk about a Conversation starter!
