Doi Boy (2023)

Director Nontawat Numbenchapol followed up a breakout documentary about human rights violations in Thailand with a movie that explores similar themes. That movie is Doi Boy, and it follows an immigrant who finds work, but just barely, in his new country of Thailand as a sex worker. He specializes in gay prostitution, even though he is actually straight. He just so happens to find a client who is deep in the weeds of social justice, and who is protecting an activist who is on the run from the government. We're along for the ride as this trio of men living on the fringe fight for justice, and survival. The very alluring actor Awat Ratanapintha plays the immigrant prostitute, Sorn. This brave young stud leaves essentially nothing to the imagination in order to bring this gritty role to life. He has an exquisite physique, and we can see it in all of its glory during his multiple arresting nude scenes. Awat is joined by Bhumibhat Thavornsiri and Atthanee Tokeree, who both show their butts in gay scenes. These aren't Doi Boys. These are Doi Men!
