Dumbbells (2014)

In the comedy flick Dumbbells (2014), Brian Drolet stars as Chris Long, an art major and power forward for the LA Tech basketball team. After a career-ending knee injury, Chris’ hoop dreams are soon shattered, leaving his spirits broken as he’s forced to take a dead end at a rundown gym in a Los Angeles strip mall. Things go from bad to shittier when the gym is taken over by former male supermodel Jack Guy (Hoyt Richards). It seems as though Jack plans on using the gym to shoot a gym-based reality show hosted by Fabio. The plot goes wacky when a cult that Jack used to be involved with jacks all his cash. It’s up to Brian and Jack to get his money back and save the gym. Since the film revolves around a gym, there are some enticing locker room scenes with Brian Drolet ab-ing out and Hoyt Richards showing off his male-model physique, which includes a look at his butt. Throw in some cameos appearances by Carl Reiner, Tom Arnold and Jay Mohr, and Dumbbells will fulfill your gym rat fetishes.
