Iconic Irishman Oscar Wilde once said, “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” Alas, Irish actor Emmett Scanlan has yet to be a topic of conversation in America even though he’s a household name in the UK. Across the pond, Emmett is famous for playing Brendan Brady on the British soap operas Hollyoaks (2010-2013), Hollyoaks: King of Hearts (2010), and Hollyoaks Later (2012). So popular in his part, Scanlan scored a British Soap Award for Best Newcomer and a Finglas Soap Award for Villain of the Year in 2011. According to Emmett, “Everyone has their inner demons, only difference is I like mine.” Luckily, the Dublin dude isn’t afraid of unleashing his outer demon either. He proved as much in the crime drama Savage (2009) wherein he exposed his toxic masculinity as well as his full frontal nudity! In a locker room scene, the skintastic actor is seen hanging around with his hanger out! In addition to touting his tattooed chest, he displays his bush, balls and dong! Since then, the hardworking hottie has sizzled on the crime shows The Fall (2013-2016), Constantine (2014-2015), and Peaky Blinders (2019-2022). In between, the topless talent showed off his hairy chest and bulging briefs in Butterfly (2018). As Scanlan continues to take off his clothes for various roles, we’re sure his career will take off in the United States. There just needs to be more shots of his bod for Yanks to start gabbing about Emmett's gift of grab!
