Fight Like a Girl (2015)

The heyday of Ozploitation films came and went quite a long time ago, but folks like Daniel Armstrong are working hard to keep the very specific genre alive. The Melbourne native has been putting out consistently entertaining, pulpy, proudly low budget, and gloriously trashy fare in recent years, and we’re especially fond of his wresting centric horror feature film Fight Like a Girl (2015) (originally titled From Parts Unknown). The narrative of the film follows a young woman whose wrestler father dies in the ring and who then sets out to become a professional wrestler herself despite a cavalcade of obstacles in her way. There are also zombies. Australian hottie Paul Cousins plays the character Vince in the film, and shows up here and there—and even in his underwear in one scene. He’s tied up and clad in nothing but a pair of tight briefs while a couple of dudes argue nearby, giving us a leisurely look at his sexy bod and even sexier bulge. O, to be kissing Cousins!
