For Love of the Game (1999)

Based on the novel by Michael Shaara, Sam Raimi’s baseball drama For Love of the Game (1999) stars Kevin Costner as forty-year-old Detroit Tigers pitcher Billy Chapel. While pitching what might be a perfect game against the Yankees, Billy must decide whether or not to quit the game and move to London to be with his ex-girlfriend Jane Aubrey (Kelly Preston). We don’t get to see too much skin, save for a few shirtless- and in-underwear moments. For love of the game, somebody take us to second base!
