Yes, Gerard's never been able to live down his role as Superboy on the TV series of the same name which ran from 1989 to 1992. He was even chosen to play Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, but the show's producers cast Dean Cain instead after learning that Gerard had already played basically the same role. But before he donned the red cape in pursuit of truth and justice, Gerard starred in the 1985 comedy Tomboy, where he bared his butt in bed with costar Betsy Russell. Talk about a Man of Steel!
