Goliath (2016-2019)

Crafted by television giant David E. Kelley, best known for shows like Ally McBeal and Boston Legal, Amazon Prime's Goliath starred Billy Bob Thornton as a former hotshot lawyer who ends up turning to the bottle after a client that he gets off the hook goes on to kill again. Debuting in 2015 and lasting four seasons, Thornton played a disheveled silver fox named Billy McBride. Billy was a wizard in the courtroom back when he was a lawyer. But when he got a dude off for murder, only for him to walk out of court and murder someone else, it messed Billy up. Fired by his partner (William Hurt) at the law firm he cofounded, Billy ended up a bottom dwelling lawyer copping plea deals for low level drug dealers. Stuck living in a motel and wreaking of cheap booze, one day Billy gets a visit from a woman (Ever Carradine) whose brother blew himself up on a boat owned by a tech company with all sorts of Department of Defense Contracts. She's convinced it wasn't a suicide, but something more sinister. Only McBride believes her, but the tech company has hired his old firm to represent them. He's David, the old firm is Goliath, and if Billy is still as good a lawyer as he once was, the blown-up boat case is his rock and sling. There's nothing like cheering for the little guy with your hand on your little man, and thankfully this one offers the opportunity to do just that. There's some great ass from Mark Duplass in this one while he takes a shower, as well as a wild bulge shot as Aaron Yoo puts the long in Long Johns. You know you like that Yoo! Stick around for shirtless shots of Patrick Robert Smith, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Thornton himself, as well as a look at William Hurt in only a cock sock. You’ll have a Goliath mess to clean up after watching those scenes!
