James Thornton is a hunky English actor and voice-over artist best known for portraying farmer John Barton on the long-running British soap opera Emmerdale from 2009 to 2012. Born on October 31, 1975 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, Thonton's good looks and magical charm landed him a role in David Copperfield (1999), where he played Ham Peggotty alongside his future wife Joanna Page portraying Dora Spenlow. The couple got hitched in 2003 and have two children together. On 13 February 2010, Thornton was hit by a car during a trip to London and was treated for shock and injuries to his legs and knees in hospital. Emmerdale writers were forced to rewrite a number of scenes involving Thornton's character, including a season end cliffhanger depicting a fictional car accident. If all this weren't harrowing enough, in 2011, Thornton also saved his wife's dog from drowning in a river, resulting in a damaged eye and severe mouth ulcers after swallowing dirty river water. He told the Daily Mirror, "I wasn't scared when I jumped in, but once I hit the water and realized I couldn't swim back against the current I was worried about what I'd done." We think Thornton has earned his right to relax and take it easy for a while, and we're going to do the same, enjoying his turn as Simon Delany in the 2003 TV Movie Between the Sheets. It's here he shows his big meaty ass as he mounts his lady on the floor by candlelight. The angle here is pretty fantastic, peeking up his impressively muscular thighs.
