Arguably one of the most famous comedians of all-time, Jerry Seinfeld has been around for as long as we can remember. Often times referred as "the greatest stand-up of all time", when you even mention his name, you can pretty much hear the cadence of his "What's the deal?" brand of clean humor that has propelled him into super stardom since the 1970s. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1954, him and his family moved to Massepequa, Long Island when he was a kid and he grew up there in the shadow of NYC. In 1976, he graduated college and immediately went on stage to pursue his career in stand-up comedy and hit the ground running. Getting first noticed on Rodney Dangerfield's HBO special in 1976, then following that up with appearances on The Tonight Show, Merv Griffin, and every other late night talk show you can think of. Then in 1989, with the help from another comedy writing legend, Larry David, Jerry created a sitcom that has gone down in history as the greatest comedic show of all time, Seinfeld. The show about nothing was the most watched, most talked about, most imitated show on TV and created an insane amount of words that made it into the lexicon of everyday use... "Man-hands", "Yada, Yada, Yada", "Close-Talker/Low-Talkers", they are countless. After 9 successful years of his titular TV series, Jerry hung it up, but is still touring as a comedian, doing appearances on TV shows, writing books, and even dipped his toes back into the world of TV with another hit series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
