Joel Tobeck is a character actor originally from Auckland, New Zealand. He's been acting since the age of 5 thanks to the efforts of his actress mother Liddy Holloway. After studying Shakespeare and classical method, Joel started landing professional roles in the late 80's which extended into the 90's with appearances in some of the most popular shows at the time like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. Later on, he would appear in the ever so popular Lord of the Rings series as well as reoccurring roles in Sons of Anarchy and The Doctor Blake Mysteries.
