The eyes have it for Joseph Gilgun. His expressive eyebrows are perfectly suited for offbeat roles, such as a skinhead named Woody in the film This Is England (2006) and a drug-addicted vampire on the AMC series Preacher (2016-2019). The supernatural show showcases Joe’s bulging undies, tattooed torso, and bare buns. Nothing scary about that! Although the alluring Englishman isn’t a household name in the United States, he has what it takes to pique our interest — among other things! After cutting his teeth on the British soap opera Coronation Street (1994-1997), the boob tuber grew up and out. As a young man, he played Eli Dingle on Emmerdale (2006-2010). But since the series is a soap, his dingle never got dirty. Perhaps that’s why Mr. Man prefers Mr. Gilgun’s shirtless turn on Misfits (2011-2013). The science fiction dramedy features Iwan Rheon, Robert Sheehan, Lauren Socha, Antonia Thomas, and Joseph’s fab flesh! As Rudy Wade, the lanky babe flashes his chiseled chest and inked arse! It’s no wonder Joe was named Breakout Star at the SFX Awards, while the Virgin Media TV Awards called him Best Newbie. Of course, the title should be Best Nudie! Throughout his career, Gilgun appeared on stage (Borstal Boy, Hanky Park the Musical); on film (The Last Witch Hunter, Harry Brown, The Infiltrator, Lockout, Sorted); and on television (Shameless, Ripper Street, Coming Up).
