Preacher (2016-2019)

Kicking off in 2016, the acclaimed AMC series Preacher was inspired by the DC comic of the same name that followed a badass preacher named Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) as he set out to find God. Jesse used to be a thief alongside his lover and partner in crime Tulip (Ruth Negga), but when he went straight, he left her behind. Meanwhile, Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) is fleeing some vampire hunters when he runs into Jesse and witnesses his power of "Genesis" that allows him to get anyone to do what he wants them to. When Jesse hears God has abandoned Heaven, the gang get together and go on a road trip to find him and tell him to cut the crap. Since a whole lot of Heavenly creatures don't want that to happen, they'll pull Confederate butcher William Munny (Graham McTavish) out of Hell to track Jesse down and kill him. Throw in revelations like that Jesus had a son, a grandson, and a bunch of descendants, but inbreeding has made his only living descendant (Tyson Ritter) an imbecile, that there's a secret group called "The Grail" who know all about it and will die to keep their secret, and that angels are real but more than willing to kill anyone who doesn't do what they want, and Preacher was four seasons of some of the craziest stuff on TV. Mr. Man knows he's preaching to the choir, but he really has to praise the man meat on the show. Whether it was Adam Wilson showing his buns wearing only an apron while feeding a man, or Pip Torrens and Blake Cooper Griffin flashing ass as some kind of initiation ritual, the nude dudes of Preacher had us feeling spiritual! As a wino vampire, seeing Joseph Gilgun's tush sure didn't suck, while Dominic Cooper in a tiny pair of undies had us thinking the only toy who could ever teach us was the love gun of a preacherman! Throw in shirtlessness from guys like Colin Cunningham, Tyson Ritter looking long and lean as Jesus, Trent Huen tied up in a pair of whitey tighties and more, and this one will have you giving yourself a Preacher-round!
