At age 8 he started doing stand-up comedy and got his first professional break some years later while performing at Caroline’s Comedy Club in his native New York. He is best known for his lead role on the Nickelodeon comedy Drake & Josh. When he is not acting or doing stand-up Josh loves to make music. He plays piano, has worked in the studio to create hip hop beats, and beatboxes on one of Drake Bell’s songs.
