West Bloomfield bud Justin Bartha blossomed into a major player after heading east to study filmmaking and theater at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. Before he landed roles on TV (Teachers, The New Normal) and in the movie Sweet Girl (2021), Justin went from being “that guy” to “the guy” thanks to two film franchises. No, we’re not talking about his uncredited appearance in 54 (1998) or his bit in the rom-com flop Gigli (2003). We’re talking about landing the part of Riley Poole in the Nicolas Cage action flicks National Treasure (2004) and National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) as well as his comical turn as Doug Billings in the blockbuster hits The Hangover (2009), The Hangover Part II (2011), and The Hangover Part III (2013). Since then, Justin (and his naked T&A) could be seen in the R-rated punk film CBGB (2013) and the aptly-titled drama Sticky Notes (2016). Also in 2016, Mr. Bartha whipped out his prosthetic peen via a screening of White Girl at the Sundance Film Festival. No doubt the revealing scene was a real crowd pleaser! Shirtless stints in the TV movie Sorry For Your Loss (2018), on the CBS series The Good Fight (2017-2018), and on the Fox sitcom Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life (2016) followed.
