Sorry For Your Loss (2018)

Some people take to fatherhood quite easily, while others struggle with the concept of even naming this new little person who suddenly lives in their house.  For brand new dad, Ken Wall (Justin Bartha), he's definitely falling into the latter and is struggling.  Not only with fatherhood too, his wife has postpartum depression along with after giving birth physical issues, he hates his job and especially his boss, and is on the brink of a nervous breakdown in most every part of his life!  He is actually doing what most men do too, he's just bottling it all up and letting it fester emotionally...  Enter his dad's sudden death and you have a perfect storm of shit swirling in Ken's life.  With his dead dad almost knowing that he's going through it, he sets his son with a task of scattering his ashes.  Not only is he requesting that his son spread his ashes on the field of his favorite pro sports team, he's offering him an undisclosed amount of money as an inheritance for doing it right!  When Ken finds out the sum of his inheritance is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, the spreading of his dad's ashes ceases to be a chore and becomes a bit of a quest for this new dad and almost a hurdle of life that he needs to accomplish in order to get out of his funk.  With the help of a couple of his dad's golf buddies and attorney, they go on a mission to honor the last wish of a man and help right the ship of life for his son.  Enjoy a bit of shirtless Justin Bartha along the way too, because he's as cute as a depressed button in this indie flick, Sorry For Your Loss!
