French actor Lionel Lingelser got his start in comedy, doing some standup shows while working with a small improv troupe. At the age of 18, he applied to the prestigious Florent acting program in Paris and was accepted. During his two years of classes there, he began appearing regularly in various stage productions. After a number of plays and small parts in TV shows and movies, Lionel got his big break when he was cast to play King Louis in the TV series Outlander.
