Do you ever fantasize about going to your hometown for a funeral? What if Bojidar Iankov Asenov was waiting there to sex you up? Now you see the upside, don't you! Liuben is a sweet gay movie about a man named Victor (Dimitar Nikolov) who heads back to his Bulgarian hometown for a funeral after spending over a decade away. He was able to be himself in his chosen city of Madrid, Spain, but back in Bulgaria, he's faced with the homophobia he so desperately wanted to escape all those years ago. Thankfully that pain is asuaged with the presence of a young man played by Bojidar Iankov Asenov. He's so enticing, in fact, that he persuades Victor to stay in Bulgaria for the entire summer. Their cute and steamy moments make Liuben a fun watch, but we do wish that this movie went further. No nudity? We thought they were in Bulge-garia!
